Happy Alpaca Day!

Alpaca is a species of South American camelid mammal. Don't get them confused with llamas! Llamas are often much larger.

There are two breeds of alpaca: the Suri alpaca and the Huacaya alpaca.

Alpacas have been bred specifically for their fiber, the fiber is harvested and woven, like sheep's wool.
