Today is Elephant Appreciation Day!


These gentle giants are the world's largest land animal, with the largest brain (3x as many neurons as humans) of any land animal!


Unfortunately, elephants remain victims of wildlife crimes; often hunted for their tusks.


Today we celebrate these remarkable creatures.
