International Red Panda Day!

Today is International Red Panda Day!

Red pandas have small bear-like bodies and are native to the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China. Their long bushy tails help them to balance, and they primarily have an herbivore diet.

Their scientific name is Ailurus fulgens, and unfortunately they are an endangered species.
