National Threatened Species Day

Writer's picture: intaid4animalsintaid4animals

Sept 7th, 2021 is National Threatened Species Day

There are over 41,000 threatened species in the world, at risk of being lost forever. (See list here: https://www.iucnredlist.org/)

Included on that list are creatures from all over the globe such as the sunflower sea star, and the slender snouted crocodile.

Today we acknowledge the fragile system humans have created, and appreciate those amazing species at risk.
